Christmas Cards

When the girls and I were in Muskogee, in October, we had our pictures taken by Ashley Thompson. The end results are FAAAAABULOUS!!!! If you live in the Muskogee, Tulsa, Ok area and are in need of a photographer... I have your lady and her website is...  http://www.ashleythompsonphoto.com/  But don't call her until February because she is on maternity leave. Ashley and her husband welcomed their first baby, Ayden, into the world! He is a beautiful baby weighing in at 9lbs 9oz.! Congrats to Ashley and her family!!!!
Ashley and I designed our Christmas cards and I love them!!!! I wanted to wait and post a picture of the card until I put them in the mail and everyone received them. (I didn't want to spoil the surprise) So I hope you enjoy!

See, don't you love our Christmas cards! I describe them as "darling"!!!! Of course anything that has a picture of my "living dolls" is gonna be fabulous!

Merry Christmas!

Lily's 2nd Birthday Party!!!

We had Lily's 2nd Birthday Party today. We celebrated with family, friends, and a visit from Santa!!! Yep, Santa rode up on his sled (our Kawaski Mule) and the excitement began!!! Santa took pictures with everyone (some more willing than others) and handed out party favors.
I just feel so fortunate that we have a healthy family, friends, and we can all come together to celebrate special times. We enjoyed watching all the kids look at Santa in amazement and tell him what was on their Christmas list.  The kids, also, gave to the less fortunate. Everyone brought a new, unwrapped toy for "Marine Corps Toys for Tots". The party goers also partook in stuffing themselves on pizza, salad, and YUMMY, YUMMY White Chocolate Birthday cake with strawberry filing!!!! If anyone is curious... Panini's Bakery in Dallas made the cake.
As for Lily, she loved entertaining everyone at her house!!! She cried when it was time for everyone to leave.
As for me, I can't believe my "Lily Pants" is two years old! Time flies when your havin fun! Seems like yesterday when Santa brought us a tiny, 6lb 10oz, baby girl. What a sweet life we have with our sweet baby girls.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We hosted Thanksgiving dinner at our house this year & I can truely say, "What a fabulous day!". The day began with husband, the girls, and myself all having breakfast together. After breakfast, the girls and I, proceeded with our normal morning routine. I wanted Lily to think this day was just like any other day. If she knew we were about to have a house full of people she would have been so excited. There would have been no way to get her to nap and I needed her to nap, for sure. Thank goodness she didn't catch on and when our guests arrived Lily was thrilled. Our guests included family and friends. Frank's parents, his sister and her boyfriend, Wes,  Antonio, Giulia, Alessandro, & Lorenzo.
I am from a large family in Oklahoma and so I very much miss the large family gatherings at the holidays, but I have to say this Thanksgiving was a great one to remember. The weather was beautiful so after eating our delicious Thanksgiving meal most everyone walked down to the lake for a little exercise. After hanging out down by the water it was back to the house for the Cowboy's game and to enjoy dessert. Later in the evening we sat around the fire pit, a couple of us drank Prosecco, and watched Frank, Antonio, and the boys toss around the football. And wouldn't you know it Lily wanted to be in the big middle of it all. Lily already had a bath and was ready for bed until she spotted the boys and demanded to go outside and play. So we bundled her up and let her run with the big boys. Needless to say she slept very well that night!
I can't forget our menu.... ham, turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, candied sweet potatoes, bacon wrapped greenbeans, mashed potatoes, gravy, brussell sprouts, risotto, traditional Italian brocolli salad, several different types of bread, rolls, & pies. One of the best parts of hosting Thanksgiving.... leftovers!!!!!

My "Living Dolls"!!!

Everyone gathered at our table,
Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Coughs, snots, & fevers, oh my!

My baby girls have been sick. Lily & Morgan, both, have had runny noses, phlemy coughs, and bouts of fever. I hate it. When my babies are ill I feel helpless. I know they feel terrible and the best I can do is give medicine and lots of cuddles. My life has been going to Dr. appts, keeping track of fevers, and doses of antibiotics, Tylenol, & Motrin.
Ear infections are not contagious, but in my house one would think they are. Husband had one in September that carried over to October. Morgan had one two weeks ago, finished her round of antibiotics, and now Lily has one and is taking her round of antibiotic. I feel responsible for the girls ear infections. Whether I caused it directly or indirectly, I still feel guilty. Morgan most likely got her ear infection from lying down while breast feeding and Lily most likely got her ear infection from drainage, but I am sure her "swimming" while taking a bath didn't help, either.
Last week Morgan went to her 6 month check up. She got a clean bill of health. She is growing very well, eating well, and her ears looked good. No more infection. She was feeling well, smiling, and back to her normal self until Monday. She started coughing and running a fever. I waited it out for almost 48 hrs then took her to the Doctor.  Morgan's diagnosis... a virus. The worst thing about a virus is it will run it's course and until then I can only treat the symptoms. Good news, though, her fever broke last night and today Morgan is smiling again! She still has the runny nose and cough, but I am sure this will hang around for a bit. I once read in a magazine article that babies-toddlers will average something crazy like 12 colds a year! Now I believe it.

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Lily and Morgan's Grandpa turned 70 years old. For his Birthday he was sent a singing Chicken from cousin Chace. The Chicken was hilarious! We had several laughs at the Chicken's expense. The Singing Chicken had written a chorus line for all of us to sing along with and I am sure the other office tenants wondered what in the world was going on! Lily thought the chicken was so cute, she rubbed its fur, and touched its big rubber feet. For Grandpa's Birthday Lunch he wanted to go to Rick's Chophouse. Lily behaved and Morgan slept through it. A very nice time was had by all.
P.S. I am wondering how much Chace paid for the Singing Chicken. I told hubby, "Heck, I'll strap on a Gorilla outfit and sing to people for a couple of hundred dollars!"

Happy Birthday Grandpa, love Lily & Morgan

Lily and her antics....

Lily has given us a run for our money lately. These two events I am about to share are stories I have heard about before, but I never thought it would happen to my child!

1. Lily performed a "high dive", as we call it, out of her crib. Yep, she climbed right out and landed on her head. I'm assuming this is what happened, I didn't see her do it, I just saw her walking out of her room when she was supposed to be in her crib. She was crying and I didn't exactly know if she was crying because she was mad or hurt until I saw the big carpet burn on her forehead and blood in her mouth from biting her tongue. She was mad and hurt. Needless to say it hasn't happened since then, "Knock on wood".  I am not ready to put her in a toddler bed. She is not even 2 yrs old. With Lily being so independent she would be roaming our house in the middle of the night. I believe a crib tent is in the works. We are going to have to make this crib tent really special or we will have a MAD baby on our hands!!!!

2. Lily had an episode with her poo filled diaper. Gross huh? Just wait until you read the following.....
Today, I went to get Lily from her nap. I entered her room and smelled poo. I thought "no wonder she didn't sleep very long... she pooed in her diaper". I see Lily, she is sitting in her crib, talking to herself in her "toddler" talk, and she is wearing no socks, pants or a diaper. Yes, you read it right. Lily pooed in her diaper and decided she didn't want to wear it any more. Her socks, pants, and pooed filled diaper are all overboard laying on the carpet outside her crib. I am in shock. Again, here is the perfect example of Lily knowing exactly what she wants and doing something about it. She didn't want her clothes or diaper on so, therefore, she threw them all overboard. Guess what I was doing for the next hour to hour & half? Scrubbing Lily down in the bathtub, scrubbing down the rails of the crib, stripping her bed, and laundering her mattress protecter, sheets, blankies, and pacis. All the while, thinking, "OMG, not my sweet baby girl, but this is definately something we will have to remember to tell and laugh about one day."

Trick or Treat!

For the past two years we have spent Halloween with Antonio, Giulia, Alessandro, and Lorenzo. Walking their neighborhood, wine in hand, enjoying great company, and having tons of laughs!

This year Lily dressed up as a Chinese girl and Morgan dressed up as a scarecrow. Morgan was going to be an eggroll, but I never made it to the fabric store. I purchased Lily's Kimono in Paris, France. Go figure! Morgan's scarecrow costume was a hand me down from Lily. Alessandro and Lorenzo dressed up as scary clowns. Antonio dressed up as a fashionable Joe Dirt and Giulia dressed up as a fabulous Diana Ross. Frank and I, well, we dressed up as ourselves!

The evening was perfect. Awesome fall weather and our were girls in a "fun" mood. We set out walking to a party (being hosted in the neighborhood) and on the way we let Lily "trick or treat". For the first two houses, Lily must have thought we were going to a playdate because she walked right up to the door, said, "Hi!" and helped herself right in! Giulia was the one helping Lily "trick or treat" so she went to get Lily and told her we can't go inside we are "trick or treating". Lily was confused at first but by the third house she knew exactly what to do... If the homeowners weren't outside handing out candy, she knocked on the door, said, "Hi!" held out her Nordstrom shopping/ candy bag (I forgot a candy bag, thank goodness I had a random bag in the car), received her candy, said "Thank you!", then made her way to the next house. We tried to get Lily to say, "Trick or Treat", but it didn't come out that well. We knew what she meant, but I'm sure other people didn't.  Lily understood the concept of "trick or treating", but she had know idea about the tasty sweets she held in her bag. We do not let Lily eat candy, if she knew about the sweet stuff we would have had trouble on our hands! She loved her Halloween Evening. She was absolutely serious, didn't want any help, and walked the whole night. We left the house to "trick or treat" at about 6:45pm and returned back at about 10:00pm. Needless to say, Lily slept all the way home, barely woke up for us to put on her pajamas, and put her in bed.

I've posted a few pics....

Pumpkin Patch

While the girls and I were in Oklahoma we visited the Pumpkin Patch, or known to some people as "punkin patch". I love it when people say "punkin"! It is charming in a southern kind of way. The day was very windy so Miss Morgan stayed in the car with Aunt Sandra while Grandma Suzy, Dr. Hoos, Kristi, and I chased Lily, Trey, and Cadyn around the pumpkin patch. Yes, sometimes it takes 4 adults to 3 kids! Three adults for the chasing and one to take pictures. I've posted a few of pics of Miss Lily!

Isn't Lily so cute?!

Five Senses I experienced while on a road trip with my two baby girls...

I thought I would comment on my five senses while driving on our road trip. The drive to Muskogee is about 3 hrs. It can be a tiny bit shorter, but can be much longer, also! We did okay. Our timing going there was about 3hrs 30 min and around the same for coming home.
So here it goes for my list of senses. Let me first say that we left in the morning after breakfast so I thought the girls would take a nap soon in to our drive. Things don't always go as planned....

1. Sight. I see the open road.  The sun beaming down on the beautiful rolling hills. Tons of trees with red, yellow, and orange fall leaves. Beautiful lakes. And on occassion I look in rearview mirrow to see my sweet Miss Lily. I can't see Miss Morgan because her car seat faces the rear of the car.
2. Smell. I smell the wonderful scent of a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks. I haven't had a Starbucks coffee in forever. Oh, this is so nice... Ooh wait, I smell poo. Someone has pooed in their diaper. Great... I'm not stopping now, we are only twenty minutes into our trip. Okay, I'll stop to change whoever the culprit is. I wouldn't want to sit in poo either.
3. Touch. I feel the leather of the steering wheel. The warm Starbucks coffee in my hand. The sun ,warm on my face, while it is warming up the cool fall morning.
4. Hear. I hear my new fave CD "On the Inside", by Sugarland. Lily loves it, too. I hear her singing along, in her own way. Soon after the start of our trip I hear Morgan screaming (until she falls asleep). Poor baby, I wouldn't want to be strapped in a tight car seat for hours on end either. Finally, I hear Shrek. I had to play Shrek for Lily to pass away the last hour of the trip.
5. Taste. I taste the yummy Pumpkin Spice Latte!. Then, in Atoka, we go through the drive-thru at McDonalds. Lily and I ate a cheeseburger. (Don't tell daddy.) Our kids will not be part of the fast food culture, but sometimes (in the case of a roadtrip) I can't help it!

Okie from Muskogee

The girls and I have been out of town..... Husband went hunting so the girls and I went to Muskogee, Oklahoma, my hometown. We left on a Friday morning and came back home one week and a day later. My family is so numerous we should have stayed longer. One week was not enough time to see everone. My mom is the middle of five children and my father is the youngest of five children. I have a ton of aunts, uncles, cousins, and two grandparents that are in their nineties. In addition to my visiting family, I, also, wanted to catch up with friends. I really didn't have enough time for this either. I never want to hurt anyone's feelings by not being able to see them, but sometimes it is impossible to make a GOOD visit with everyone.
While in Muskogee, the girls and I stayed at my Aunt Sandra and Uncle P.A.'s house. They were so nice to let us stay there. They are empty nesters and used to a quiet house, but once we were there they didn't want us to leave. Miss Lily followed Uncle P.A. around everywhere. She was his little shadow. Miss Morgan got very used to Grandma Suzy and Aunt Sandra's cuddles! This was the first time for many people to see Miss Morgan in real life. They thought she was a doll and Miss Lily, too. The girls met so many new people. At first introduction, Lily, played shy, but in no time at all is was smiling, flirting, giggling, giving "5", and blowing kisses, "Bye!". She is definitely the show stopper! Lily, also, got to play with cousins and new friends. The child play is so great. I love to watch the interaction of Lily and whoever she is playing with. We experienced special memories never to forget.

Morgan's 1st Tooth

Sweet, baby Morgan cut her 1st tooth. I can feel the sharp, almost ragged feel, of the pearly white breaking through her gums. Miss Morgan has been chewing and drooling on everything. She doesn't just chew on one finger, it's all of them. If she could fit her whole fist in her mouth, I think she would chew on it, too. She hasn't been cranky, thank goodness, but I can tell she has had some discomfort.
I remember when Lily was teething... I debated on giving her tylenol, I wanted to keep her pure and not medicated. That didn't last long. After a few nights of interrupted sleep, I very gladly gave Lily tylenol, then on to motrin, when she got old enough for it.
For Miss Morgan, I have been rubbing Orajel on her gums and one night before bed, she got tylenol. So far, she has been a little trooper. This is to be expected though. Morgan went on her first vacation at 3 weeks old! We went on a family vacation to the beach and both girls were very pleasant, plane ride and all. I said then, "Our girls are going to be little troopers, ready for anything at the drop of a hat!"

Got my hair did!!!

As of about 5 weeks ago, I have a new hairstyle. My hair is short, blonde, and, as my husband calls it, "sassy!".  Now, that my hair is short, to ensure the "sassyness", I have to get my hair trimmed and highlighted more often. Oh Darn!!!
So, today, I had a much needed hair appointment. It was a great day! I was able to get out of the house (with Morgan), enjoy lunch, girl talk, many laughs, and a fabulous haircut & highlight. Lily stayed at home, with her grandma, and Morgan came with me. Morgan loves girl talk so she felt right at home in the salon! Getting out of the house, even with Morgan, was so refreshing.
Let me just say....Something as simple as "adult talk" goes a long way.
My day of pampering gave me the sense, "I could tackle the world!!!"
Or "Two baby girls, that is!"

A glimpse into my future...

Yesterday, Lily was standing on our coffee table (yes, she is not supposed to be doing this), with her hat in her hand, and shaking it like crazy. I was sitting on the couch, with Morgan in my lap, and baby Morgan, being only 5 months, started laughing out loud at her sister. I couldn't help but smile & think, "this is what I have to look foward to". Lily showing off for her baby sister, Morgan laughing, and Lily continuing to do whatever makes her sissy laugh!
What fun we are going to have!!!

Lily found her Mommy!

Lily enjoys looking at pictures of her Mommy & Daddy's wedding. She even carries around some of the pictures. So I play a game with her....
I point to her Daddy in the picture and I say, "Lily, who is this?", Lily points to her Daddy and replies, with so much excitement, "DADDY!!!". I then ask her, "Lily, where is your Mommy?", Lily just looks at me then walks away.
Lily found her Daddy in pictures months ago. She will walk up to any of the framed pictures in our house, point to her Daddy and say, "DADDY!!!" As I said, this has been going on for months, so I have been waiting patiently for her to find me.
Finally, about three weeks ago, Lily walked up to a framed picture in our master bedroom, pointed to me in the picture and said, "MOMMY!!!". Oh my, I was so excited. I said, "Yes, Lily that is Mommy!" And I gave her a big hug!
I had been blaming my different hairstyles in the different pictures as the reason Lily never found me. But I think it was because she never "needed" to find me...I am always nearby!!!!!

The "NO's" have it!

Lily's new favorite word is "No!" She is saying "No" in response to everything and everyone. Even when she doesn't mean to say "No" she does. The "No" can be "NO!!!" or just a sweet "No". However she is saying it, she is loving it. "NO, no, no, noooo, & no". While saying "No", she, also, shakes her head. So I believe she understands "No", but I also think she just likes saying it. She is practicing her new line of independence!
Lily's favorite things include her bath, cheese, & shoes. So I ask... "Lily, would you like some cheese?" Her reply, "No". Then she reaches for the cheese and eats it.  This goes on... "Lily, let's put on your shoes." Her reply, "No". Then we put on her shoes. You get the drill.
I remember friends and family members telling about their children and the stages they go through and the "No!" stage is one of them. I just can't believe how fast Lily has grown up. Seems like yesterday I was in labor with her and rushing to the hospital! Babies don't stay babies long!

Daddy and his "Goo-Gaa" (aka: Lily)

Lily and her Daddy have a secret language....
It is called "Goo-Gaa, Goo-Gaa"!
Daddy says, "Goo-Gaa!" to Lily, then Lily says, "Goo-Gaa!"back to her Daddy. This special language goes back & forth to each other. I will be in a different room of the house, hear them talking their language and I smile. I think it is so cute! So I have posted a few pics of Lily and her Goo-Gaa, or aka, "Daddy".

The Poo Diaries

When you have children, it is amazing the conversations you will have with your spouse....

Husband: Has Lily pooed today?

Momma Nat: No, not yet.

Husband: It has been two days, when she does poo, you know it will be a BIG one.

Momma Nat: Yes, thank you, I know.

Funny how the "poos" of babies and children are topics of discussion for many conversations. Moms, friends, relatives, and spouses will all join in. Parents will know immediately what is ailing their child just by investigating their child's poo. For instance, a baby, who is exclusively breastfed, rarely has stinking gas or poo, unless they are allergic or have an aversion to the food their mom is eating. Other times, their poo will change colors... Once, I ate too much guacamole and Morgan's poo turned very green! Another point, if Lily gets diarrhea, I know she stumbled upon some sort of virus. Which brings me to the "BRAT" (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) diet. This diet will magically fix your child's diarrhea almost immediately. Since babies and toddlers cannot take belly meds, moms need other way of correcting the problem, and the "BRAT" diet will do the trick!!! (BRAT diet will work for adults, too) Now, for "not pooing" I don't know the remedy. I guess we will just wait and see. I keep on thinking I am going to put Lily down for a nap, hear her cry, go check on her and "surprise" she has poo in her diaper!

I'm sure the conversation will go something like this....

Husband: Hello?

Momma Nat: Guess what?

Husband: Lily pooed?

Momma Nat: Yes, how did you know?

Husband: I was worried about her... She ate a ton of food this weekend.

Momma Nat: No worries, she is okay.

Husband: Okay, good, talk to ya later, luvy.

Momma Nat: Luvy, bye!

All is good, when your child feels well, is happy, smiles, hugs mommy & daddy, sleeps well, and of course, "poos" on time!!!!

"Lily, what would you like to wear today?"

The weather has been "fallish" the past couple of days. A very nice break from the heat. Yesterday, when we walked out our front door there was a refreshing breeze. Lily says, "OHHH", like this weather is wonderful. Lily did so well at gymnastics, she is playing better with a "group" of kids. There for a while she roamed the gym checking out everything but what she was supposed to be doing. Now I feel I am getting my moneys worth.

Today, the girls and I are staying at home. There is an overcast and a chance of rain. Kind of gloomy. Plus, I have a terrible headache. I think weather induced. I can only take certain meds because of breastfeeding (one drawback of breastfeeding), so I am waiting for this headache to pass.

The days we stay at home I let Lily choose her clothes for the day. This morning, after breakfast, Lily and I are in her room and I say, "Lily, what would you like to wear today?" Lily opens the drawer of her armoire and pulls out her bathing suit! The top and matching bottom. She has done this before and I always think it is so funny. I guess she likes the soft feel of it and, maybe, it reminds her of vacations to the beach. Who knows, but I have always said, "Lily lets us know exactly what she wants, even when she was a tiny baby."
Later, I will try to post a pic.

Peace and Quiet....

Or lack there of.... For those of you reading my blog and don't have children, yet, just be warned your days of "peace and quiet" are gone out the window. I do not want this warning to prevent you from having children, but just enjoy your "peace and quiet" times, now.
I remember when my brother and I were kids, we would find our mom in the bathroom and she would say, "Why can't I use the restroom in peace?" Did your mom say that too?
Well, I became that mom today.
Sweet Lily is so inquisitive she follows me everywhere and watches everything I do. She knows how to wash her body with a loofah, put on lotion, put on deodorant, apply makeup, brush her hair, brush her teeth, put on jewelry, talk on the phone, and, even though, she still wears diapers, she pretends to wipe her butt. Yep, I just typed it.
Motherhood is a blast and your little person will think their mommy is the best person in the world!!!!

LNO/ Jewelry Party

This past Friday night, I hosted a Lady's Night Out/ Jewelry Party. My girlfriend, Giulia, sells fabulous jewelry that is handmade in Italy. Every piece is beautiful and so unique. You will not find this jewelry anywhere else in the states because Giulia is the only one who sells it here. Her website is http://www.dmodaitalianjewels.com/ Check it out, but the jewelry is way more intricate and eye catching in person.

The party for me was a much needed evening of laughs and girl talk. The party goers included myself, Giulia, Cathy R, Kathy L, Madissen & friend, Krista & Lana, Amanda & Donna, Christy & Courtney, Pam, and finally Lisa & Michelle. Once the "jewelry party" part of the night concluded, the real fun began.... All I will say is we finished the last bottle of champagne at 2am Saturday morning! OMG! What was I thinking, but what a great time we had. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt the next day!
P.S. Thanks to the Husband for buying all the champagne and playing DJ once he returned home from dinner.
P.S.S. Sorry you got your forehead slapped! ;)

Lily's Language Development

Not much has been going on, except getting ready for the jewelry party. I have been trying to prepare the house a little bit at a time (so I don't overwhelm myself) while the girls are napping or after they go to bed. The mom's group we are members of has cancelled several playdates due to illness. I am thankful for this. The last thing I want to happen is to go to a playdate, Lily catch something, and then bring it home to baby Morgan.

So with nothing else to report on, I think it is a great time to chart Lily's Language development. These are the words in her vocabulary.

1. Daddy, Dadda (she never says momma :(

Weekend with the grandmas

This weekend the girls and I had company. Husband went hunting so Grandma Suzy and Great Grandma Fabian came to visit. We hit the ground running. Friday morning the girls and I dropped of the grandmas at Target while we went to a playdate. Lily is so independent these days she wants to do only whatever she wants to do. It is very difficult at playdates with the two babies. Usually, I keep Morgan in the baby bjorn and Lily gets to play. This playdate was a little different. I let both girls down to play, next thing you know Morgan is pooing in her diaper, Lily spies the child size table full of plates, with goldfish, boxes of apple juice, and she charges for it. I haven't told you, yet, these snacks are already spoken for so I am trying to corral Lily before she takes a drink, oops, too late. She just drank somebody else's juice. Hopefully, the other child who owns the juice box is not sick. Lily just got over the diarrhea. Oh well, germs are good right? So while I am changing Morgan's diaper, Lily starts her roaming. She is famous for checking out other rooms of other peoples houses'. The host mom reassures me that Lily is just fine and not hurting anything, but I don't want Lily to wear out her welcome. Okay, so I am trying to get Lily back to play with the other kids and she starts screaming. It is meltdown time because she is getting very close to her nap time. Needless to say, I load up everything and we head for Target to pick up the grandmas. We make a quick stop at Chick fil a then travel home. Feed Lily, put her down for a nap, nurse Morgan, and ,finally, some quiet time. I think I took a little snooze, too. After the nap we are off running again, Tuesday Morning is our destination. We are in the store forever it seems. This store is cool for "off the wall" stuff. Random stuff you end up putting in your basket you think you have to have. I found a package of pretty dinner napkins for the jewelry party I am hosting next Fri. Grandma Suzy found an Elmo Restaurant for Lily for Christmas. Lily will love it. We finally leave TM and pick up food at LaMadeline. Yummy Caesar salads. Head home, eat, bathe Lily, Grandma Suzy cuddles with Lily before bed, I nurse Morgan, Lily goes to bed, followed by Morgan, and Grandma Suzy and I look up random words on Urban Dictionary. This site is hilarious. We have a few belly hurting laughs (I love these times with mom, the corning stuff we crack up at) then I go to bed. Saturday morning we take it slow, then off running again. To the drapery place, El Fenix, and then Stonebriar Centre so mom can find new accessories for her Iphone. At home, again, and it is feed, bathe, cuddle Lily before her going to bed. I nurse Morgan and she is off to bed. I stay up entirely to late after both grandmas go to bed. Sunday morning, I am exhausted, Grandma Suzy gets up with Lily and does her morning schedule. Thank goodness. I clean then go to Brookshires to get the DMN for the coupons. After we hug and tell the grandmas, "Bye", I put Lily down for a nap, nurse Morgan and have a little quite time for me. Husband makes it home and Lily is thrilled. She adores her Daddy. Later Grandma and Grandpa W come over for dinner. More attention for Lily. She is relating Sunday nights to grandparents, dinner, playing outside, and blowing bubbles. Grandma Suzy bought her a blowing bubbles contraption. The bottom looks like regular bubbles, but the top has a lever you pull back and "magic", the bubbles come out. Lily knows how to work it and she gets very stingy with it. If you try to help her with more bubble liquid she holds on to it for dear life like you are going to take it away. It is so funny to watch her to work this bubble machine. She is figuring out how things work, I am so proud! But tonight was a different story. Lily did not get to blow bubbles. All weekend the weather was terrible. It rained and rained and rained. Lily was very disappointed about not being able to go outside. She cried, screamed, and cried more. We ate dinner, I was about to bathe Lily then thought, "Ya know it wouldn't hurt for Lily to go outside. Even though it is sprinkling, that is the same as running through a sprinkler, right?" She felt so relieved to run outside. Now with Lily in good spirits she got a bath and cuddled with Daddy before bedtime. Sunday nights are fun and good memories for all!

1st post!!!

Okay, so I am thrilled I have a blog. I am so cool! Just don't expect correct spelling, punctuation, and all of that stuff. I can barely achieve keeping this blog while being wife, mommy, chef, housekeeper, chaufer, friend, daughter, etc. I always envied those who kept blogs, and I finally decided to just do it. I only wish I would have started keeping this blog while pregnant with Lily. I have a calender where I kept track of Lily's development, but this blog seems so definite. You know not like paper. I feel that anyone who reads this blog will have missed out on all of the great happenings in Lily's life before 20 months of age. Okay in the grand scheme of things that sounds lame, but I adore my girls and believe they are the most sweetest creatures on earth. Just like every other mom thinks of their babies! So this blog starts while Lily being 20 months old and Morgan being 4 months old. I can't wait to track their development, tell of funny stories, vent about life, and just chat (type) away to my new blog. Stay tuned for adorable, humorous, enlightening, and informative posts! Happy Blogging!
