Something on Sundays

Morgan's 2nd Birthday!
We celebrated Morgan's 2nd Birthday yesterday. Morgan wore a colorful, fabulous tutu and matching bow, both made by yours truly, and a customized 2nd Birthday tee made by my dear friend Ashley. We had a Dora themed party with the Swiper swipping Morgan's Birthday cake so the kids went on a scavanger hunt to find her cake. The first stop of the hunt was making yellow friendship bracelets just as Dora wears and grabbing their Dora backpacks, which I made from purple gift bags with magnifing glasses inside, then following Rainbow Rd. to Crocodile Lake where a Crocodile was waiting to be scared away by blowing bubbles in his mouth. After they scared the Crocodile away the kids were on their to Windy Valley (our play gym) where they climbed up the ladder and down the slide for more goodies to put in their backpack. Finally, after the scavenger hunt we feasted on hotdogs, hamburgers, chips & dip then Morgan's Birthday cake magically appeared!
Lily and Morgan had cousins in town from two different states and they really enjoyed their time together. These fun days together are the times to celebrate and cherish forever.
After the party, while the little kids were playing inside the big kids, my husband, his brother in law & the girl's papa, decided to take the boat out on Hurricane creek. I took a little video just in case something hilarious was going to happen, (cause ya never know about those three), but they were safe as they were just checking out their future fishing hole.
That evening while Grandma Suzy, Uncle Randy and cousin Jaxon entertained the girls, Frank & I went out to eat with some friends. We enjoyed yummy, yummy Asians dishes & sushi rolls. We didn't stay out too late and therefore got in bed at a decent time for much needed sleep.
Happy Birthday to my sweet baby Mojo!
